CID Chief Liza Demeterio said that the activity is designed to contextualize the different folk dances of the region and integrate them in the K to 12 Curriculum.
Education Program Supervisor in MAPEH, Dr. Allan Rosello added that the activity is participated in by elementary and secondary MAPEH teachers who would showcase the richness of various Eastern Visayas’ dance culture through their best dance performances.
Meanwhile, SDS Genis S. Murallos lauds the CID Chief for conducting the said activity. “I congratulate the team for conducting this activity. I have always believed that professional development is a central part to education reform. Our teachers are our biggest assets. Upskilling and recapacitating them is an integral part of teacher education because only continued learning and training can assure our teachers’ high level of expertise”, said the Division Chief.
